Book Launch: Emily Jones, Edmund Burke & The Invention of Modern Conservatism, 1830-1914

To celebrate the publication of Emily Jones’s Edmund Burke & The Invention of Modern Conservatism, 1830-1914 (Oxford University Press) together with Pembroke College, the Centre is hosting a book launch at 5pm on 5 June 2017 in the Old Library, Pembroke College.

A major conference on this theme will be held under the auspices of the Centre for Political Thought at Clare College, Cambridge, on 10-11 May 2018. The conference will address the ways in which political philosophers have engaged with concepts of time and the evidence of history. Registration details will be available here shortly.
