After over two years of an unplanned break, the Global Intellectual History research seminar will reconvene on 15 June (Wednesday) at 5pm in the Parker Room, Corpus Christi College, with a drinks reception from 6:30pm—all welcome.

David Bates is Professor of Rhetoric. An intellectual historian, he is author of several books including States of War: Enlightenment Origins of the Political, Enlightenment Abberations: Error and Revolution in France and Plasticity and Pathology: On the Formation of the Neutral Subject.
